Attention! Attention! On June 1, Barbar will switch to the summer season, and for this reason we are offering you a particularly spicy and hot summer concert evening! Räpina Jack, a rock’n’roll duo that is gaining more and more fame and support, will take the stage, and that night they will present the release of their first long-playing album “Pasljabin” as a vinyl record. Kaisa Ling, the not yet officially crowned blues queen of Maarjamaa, has also promised to come to support! The amount of energy that will be emitted from the stage that night can hit almost all geiger counters within a 100km radius.
Of course, the band RÄPINA JACK will take the stage with a musical program dedicated to the material of the brand new and powerful new record, which will not be missing Jack’s most beloved hits! The program includes hot rock’n’roll, fiercely enchanting blues and mind-blowing hip-hop.
Provocative, political and boastful, both refined and a bit vulgar, Estonia’s best (and also the only) palagan blues collective KAISA LING THING pours a passionate message into a dynamic musical form. The future grand old lady of Estonian blues, Kaisa Ling, trumpets deep blues, while pianist Rene Paul rummages through historical combinations of rhythm and harmony, modernizing them and translating them into local languages.
